History

NViro was founded in 1992 as the result of a management buy-out of the Isle of Wight Council contract services department.

The contract cleaning company is a subsidiary of The Quarr Group, a leading independent provider of business support services with a turnover of £40 million (2007). The Group’s other subsidiaries are Pabulum (contract catering) and Mountjoy (building and facilities maintenance).

NViro employs over 1,100 staff. We have the infrastructure to manage large cleaning contracts yet we are small enough to offer a high level of personal service to clients, often at director level.

NViro’s growth is a result of its strategy to target markets serviced by large national organisations who cannot compete in terms of operational support, flexibility and attention to detail.
