Chris Howells BSc. CEng. MICE

A graduate in Civil Engineering and Chartered Civil Engineer, Chris is Chairman of NViro and Group Managing Director of The Quarr Group, NViro’s parent company.

Prior to establishing NViro in 1992 through a management buy-out, Chris gained wide experience in the public sector at Chief Officer level and in the private sector for consulting and contracting organisations. His responsibilities include formation and implementation of NViro’s core values and policies relating to operations, service, marketing and finance.

Managing and Finance Director
Brian Warren BEng ACA

Brian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Electronics Engineering graduate. He began his career with Thorn EMI and Micronair before joining a firm of chartered accountants. After gaining experience in auditing, he spent two years as a management accountant for a subsidiary of Vickers Manufacturing before joining NViro in 1999.

Operations Director
Giles Wheeler

Giles has spent over 20 years in Facilities Management, most recently at Pall Mall Group.
With a general management background in service industry companies, Giles has a proven track record of bringing them into profit through building and developing operations, sales, account management and administrative teams to produce high levels of customer satisfaction.
His many qualifications include NVQ level 4 Business Management, Institute of Directors (Director Development) and I.S.O.9002 Quality Management Internal Auditor.

Sales and Marketing Director
Stephen MacDonald M.A, Dip M, MCIM

Stephen joined NViro in 2004 and has over 20 years’ experience in customer service industries in both the operations and marketing functions, working for Scottish and Newcastle, Center Parcs and Boots. His responsibilities include researching the market for innovative ways of satisfying client requirements, tendering contracts and managing all communications.
